Flowers for the arts

Since the 2018/19 season, Fleurop has been the Staatstheater Nürnberg, where more than 290,000 spectators enjoy over 700 opera, theatre, ballet and concert events every year. The Fleurop florist 'Blumen Moßner' supplies Bavaria's largest multi-genre theatre with high-quality flowers and floral arrangements. These are not only used to decorate the entrance areas and foyers of the various venues, but also decorate the stages of the Staatstheater on special occasions. Fleurop also donates colourful cut flowers and bouquets, which are presented to the artists as a thank you after premieres and concerts. Special attention is also paid to the distribution of flowers to the audience.

Excellent art for a demanding audience

Christian Ruppert, Managing Director of the Staatstheater Nürnberg Foundation, emphasises the special significance of Fleurop's support as flower partner: "As a house of artists, the Staatstheater Nürnberg wants to present excellent art to its audience and create extraordinary experiences. An all-round successful visit to the theatre or concert includes not only the artistic event on stage, but also the special atmosphere of the venue. From the very first moment, visitors to Staatstheater Nürnberg should feel welcome and comfortable, with a stylish ambience that underlines the special nature of the experience and invites visitors to linger. Fleurop's artistic floral arrangements give the Opera House, the Playhouse, the Meistersingerhalle and all the other venues of the Staatstheater the aura of particularly inspiring places".

As part of the collaboration, Fleurop has already designed a stage set for a children's concert, as well as providing floral decorations for the venues and floral gifts for the artists. Florists from Fleurop's "Blumen Moßner" store transformed the stage of the Nuremberg Opera House into a colourful, blooming garden that was admired by children and parents alike. Fleurop also organised flower distribution campaigns for special occasions. On Mother's Day, for example, each visitor to the opera received a flower. This charming gesture was very well received and raised public awareness of the flower partnership between Fleurop and the Staatstheater Nürnberg.
