Place setting decoration with amaryllis

A simple idea with a great effect - that's the best way to describe this elegant place decoration with amaryllis. The great thing about it: after Christmas dinner, your guests can take the beautiful flower in the Christmas bauble home with them as a small gift and decorate their home with the amaryllis.

Materials required:

different coloured amaryllis (you can get these from your local florist)
Sharp knife
Golden Christmas baubles
wrapping paper
Pen
Pen Jute cord

Step-by-step instructions for the amaryllis decoration:

Step 1: Cut the amaryllis

In the first step, cut the amaryllis diagonally just below its head.

Step 2: Fill the Christmas bauble with water

Remove the hanger from the Christmas bauble and fill the bauble with enough water to feed the amaryllis. Caution: Do not fill it too full so that the water does not leak out of the bauble when you want to place it on the plate later.

Step 3: Arrange the amaryllis in the Christmas bauble

Now carefully insert the amaryllis into the opening of the Christmas bauble.

That's it!

Add the name tag in the last step. We opted for wrapping paper as the material, as we liked the natural look in contrast to the elegant Christmas bauble. If the decorations aren't Christmassy enough for you, you can also decorate the Christmas table with red amaryllis alone.
