Beautifully wrapped Christmas presents can be a highlight not only for the recipient. Wrapping presents can also become a lovely Christmas tradition for the gift giver - ideally together with an emotional Christmas film, mulled wine and biscuits! This turns wrapping into a personal, creative event.

For a celebration like Christmas, gift wrapping can also be something special. So how about creative gift wrapping with flowers for Christmas? It doesn't have to be complicated or too elaborate, because beautiful winter flowers, such as amaryllis, are eye-catching in their own right and are sure to bring a smile to the recipient's face.

Instructions for gift wrapping with flowers

Step 1: Wrap the gift with wrapping paper

The first step is the same for all packages: a simple paper is used as the basis, e.g. wrapping paper or, in a very sustainable way, paper that was previously used as packaging material can be used as wrapping paper. The simple and understated paper allows the flowers to shine even more.

Step 2: Wrap the amaryllis and greenery together

A wide, dark-coloured cotton ribbon provides the necessary contrast. As a highlight, wrap the same cotton ribbon around the stem of an amaryllis. Shorten the style to the length of the gift beforehand. Wrap a paper craft wire around the cotton ribbon to secure it. A small sprig of eucalyptus and a few wax flowers will then fit wonderfully inside.

Step 3: Attach the amaryllis to the gift

Wrap a strip of wide cotton ribbon around the gift wrapped in wrapping paper and attach it to the underside of the gift with some adhesive tape. Place the paper wire in the centre of the cotton ribbon and twist it to secure it to the underside. Do not wrap the paper wire too tightly around the gift, as the amaryllis arrangement will be pushed underneath it. The amaryllis will last a few days without water and can therefore be beautifully placed in a vase by the recipient after the gift has been given. This way, the packaging itself becomes another gift!

It's so easy to design creative Christmas gift wrapping with flowers. Because the packaging also makes the Christmas present something very special.
