Traditional wedding decor

The predominant colour at a classic wedding is white. The bride wears an elegant, long wedding dress with a veil and the groom wears a black suit or even a tailcoat with a bow tie. Old wedding customs, such as tying a wreath and planting a wedding tree, are very popular.

Roses and carnations in cream and white in combination with green foliage are classically used for wedding floristry. The bridal bouquet is compact and tied round to form a dome. Floral decorations such as the lapel decoration for the groom and hair wreaths for the flower children are predominantly designed in mono colours with small colour accents and used discreetly.
