Whether weddingsanniversariesbirths or birthdays: giving bouquets of flowers with money is a wonderful idea for many special occasions. Especially when there are no specific wishes, the recipients are often happy to receive a gift of money. Flowers provide a special setting and that certain something to celebrate this special moment.

But how can you design a bouquet of flowers with money?

Including money in a bouquet is very easy with our self-designed origami money flowers and looks very impressive at the same time. The special thing about the folded money flowers is that they can be made from any banknote. You can therefore include as much money in the bouquet as you like.

Materials required:

  • Three banknotes of equal value per flower made of money.

The value of the gift of money with flowers depends on how many banknotes are included in the bouquet. The value of a money flower is 15 euros for three 5-euro notes, 30 euros for three 10-euro notes, 60 euros for three 20-euro notes and 150 euros for three 50-euro notes. Of course, you can also combine different money flowers, e.g. a 15 euro money flower made from 5 euro notes and a 30 euro money flower made from 10 euro notes to create a total of 45 euros in the bouquet of money.

  • One green plug wire per money flower. You can also use a thinner wire that is easier to bend.
  • A beautiful bouquet of flowers from Fleurop, e.g. the "Soulmate" rose bouquet with large-headed white roses, some gypsophila and greenery such as pistachio and eucalyptus.

Instructions for a bouquet of flowers with money - we'll show you how it's done:

Step 1: Fold the banknote for the money flower in the centre

Place the desired banknote in front of you and fold it once in the centre to form a slim rectangle.

Step 2: Fold the corners towards the centre line

Open the banknote again and then fold all four corners towards the centre line.

Step 3: Fold the side edges to the centre line

Now fold the bottom side edge up towards the centre line. Repeat the same with the top side edge.

Step 4: Prepare three banknotes per money flower

Fold the two halves together along the centre line.

Repeat the steps from Step 1 to Step 4 with two more banknotes of the same value, so that you have folded a total of three banknotes per money flower.

You can repeat this process until you have prepared enough money flowers for your bouquet of money.

Step 5: Create a flower out of money with wire

Place the three folded banknotes on top of each other so that they alternate in colour. To do this, turn the centre banknote over once, for example. The folded opening should face upwards on all the notes. Place the wire around the centre of the three folded banknotes and twist them tightly together on the underside.

Step 6: Unfold the petals of the money flower

The money flower is now almost finished: fan out the individual petals evenly and unfold them. To do this, press or crease the banknote slightly upwards from the bottom if necessary.

Step 7: Tie the money into the bouquet

Finally, the money flower can simply be pinned into your bouquet. If it doesn't hold in the desired position on its own, simply wrap the wire around a sturdy flower stem and bend it in the desired direction. Your personalised bouquet of money flowers is ready.

That's it!

Whether you use a single money flower in your bouquet with money or several is entirely up to you and of course depends on how many banknotes you want to include in the bouquet. Complete bouquets of money are also conceivable.

Either way, we're pretty sure that this special gift with banknotes in the bouquet will put a smile on the face of everyone who receives it.
